The standard since 1992, PCI is one of the most broadly used bus standards today for PCs, servers, and embedded designs. This bus can be found on products from spacecraft to video games. This parallel bus has been implemented in a variety of configurations and speeds ranging from 33Mhz for PCI to 133Mhz for PCI-X.
