The Bus Doctor line of protocol analyzers offers an unprecedented level of modularity and configuration. Bus Doctor is the only protocol analyzer to support storage, network, backplane, and peripheral busses. We analyze more busses at the protocol level than any other tool maker, and we can do it with the same analyzer. Just attach a particular bus pod, and Bus Doctor becomes a dedicated protocol analyzer for that bus. This modular design gives you efficiency and an extremely attractive value proposition.

PacketMaker™
PacketMaker is the most flexible traffic generation product for high-speed serial storage busses. This bus exerciser is available now for Serial ATA and Serial Attached SCSI, and is the first such product for these protocols. The intuitive software application allows you to easily design packet streams to send them out over the bus and react to traffic you receive.

PacketMaker started as a Windows-based application and a USB-based hardware pod. Now in its second generation, PacketMaker II is now a PCI based traffic generator card with both a Windows base GUI and a software API. Though it may be used independently as a bus exerciser, the PacketMaker II traffic generator is the perfect companion to the Bus Doctor protocol analyzer.
